    Test of infant wipes antiseptic substance

    Background of the project:
    Last year a survey of testing by CCTV "weekly quality report" and Shanghai Consumer Protection Committee sampling found that over 40% of wet wipes in market were detected antiseptic ingredients, of which CIT residues were detected in nearly half "infant wet wipes".
    CIT, full name methyl chloride isothiazolinone, is a preservative ingredients, often used with another preservative methyl isothiazolinone (MIT) in water-based cosmetics. CIT is irritative to the skin and mucous membranes and is not suitable for using in prolonged exposure. MIT content cannot exceed 100 ppm.

    Test products:
    Wipes, baby wipes, cosmetics, toothpaste,  detergents and other household necessities, flavor spices, and other daily cosmetics raw materials.
