    Domestic non-special-purpose cosmetics registration and testing service

    Project background
    Since June 30, 2014, the manufactures engaging in domestic cosmetics with non-special purpose has been required to register product information online complying with the registration requirement for domestic cosmetics with non-special purpose. The registration of product information is released solely for public inquiry on the official website of the China Food and Drug Supervision Administration (CFDA). It indicated that the governmental authority focus on regulating of domestic cosmetics with non-special purpose, protecting the customers rights and interests for health. At same time, it will have significant impacts to the domestic cosmetics industry.

      Detection for Registration of cosmetics with non-special purpose for the CFDA
    Total plate count, total amount of mould and yeast, fecal coliform bacteria, staphylococcus aureus, mercury, arsenic, lead, methanol, five items of alpha hydroxy acid (i.e., tartaric acid, etc.), six items of antibiotics (i.e., chlortetracycline hydrochloride, etc.) and metronidazole, four items of anti-dandruff agent (i.e., salicylic acid, etc.), fifteen items of sunscreen (i.e., phenyl benzo imidazole sulfonic acid, etc.), 1, 4-dioxane, acrylamide, diethylene glycol, etc.
