Onboard electronic equipment E/e Mark certification services E Mark originated from the laws and regulations promulgated by Economic Commission of Europe (ECE) which currently consists of 28 countries including countries in Eastern and Southern Europe in addition to EU member countries. Generally, ECE members are willing to accept test reports and certificates which comply with ECE laws and regulations. E Mark certificates deal with components and parts and system components, and there are no laws and regulations governing entire car certification; the products which are granted E Mark certification are accepted by the market .
