Organic Food is called as ecological or biological food in other languages. Organic Food means agricultural and sideline products and its processed products comes from organic agricultural production systems, produced and processed according to organic agricultural production requirements and the corresponding standards, and accredited by legitimate, independent Organic Food certification organization.
In 2005, PONG TEST was designated as one of the first batch of organic products testing organization by CNCA: (be effective all over China)

The difference between organic products certification logo and organic conversion products logo

Organic products logos are divided into two kinds. Generally speaking, there is a 1-3 year transition period before a farm obtained the organic products certification after application. This farm must produce in full accordance with organic products certification standards. But its product can only be called ‘organic conversion products’, not organic products. And only use relevant organic conversion logo. |

What conditions should Organic Food possess?
1. Organic Food must strictly follow the Organic Food production, collection, processing, packaging, storage and transport standards in production and processing. Prohibit use chemical synthetic pesticides, chemical fertilizers, hormones, antibiotics, food additives, etc.. Prohibit use genetic engineering technology and products of this technology and their derivatives.
2. Must establish a strict quality management system, the production process control system and tracking system in Organic Food production and processing. Generally require a transition period;
3. Organic Food must be accredited by legitimate Organic Food certification organization (PONY TEST).

The provisions should be followed to make Chinese Organic Food enter the European market
The European organic market is consisted of 25 countries now. These countries should implement the same control method in importing organic products, but the organic codes are complex and are constantly improving. It is very important to follow the organic codes, because the imports will be canceled once making mistake. So the experience of export and the establishment of importers system is necessary. For example, CO ORGANIC FOODS understands the EU organic codes, these codes prescribe that the supplier can not sell their organic products directly to European consumers, or the consumers can not buy directly from you. Because most ultimate customer have not registered in authorized institutions to import organic products.
In simple terms, imports codes of organic are summarized as follows: the first import of organic food from the EU must be authorized by homeland governments. Such authorization institutions can manage each registered companie deputizing government. Such as ECOCERT, which are the organization permitted by proprietors and can issue imports authorization certificate and check companies.
On the other hand, each export cooperation company of importer and its organic products variety must register in relevant government departments. Registration authorization need importers provide each supplier's certificate and the organic certificate of their products. The importers will get a unique registration number. Organic products without these will not be allowed to import. These will be recorded in certification and inspection documents. (Above only related to import organic products to the EU.) This certificate is the paper shown to the customs and port commodity inspection agencies when import.
The bothers between suppliers and importers generally are the problem of the goods quality. Chinese suppliers can use industrial technology as a most important way of cleansing means. Since with these two conditions cleaning and product quality, China is competitive in the international market. However, there are still some gaps with the products of other regions and countries, such as the United States, Canada, Argentina and so on, China must continue to raise the requirements for organic products.
